Your Gateway to Jacksonville
Along San Jose Boulevard north of Sunbeam Road begin two older, more established communities: Beauclerc (pronounced Bo-claire) and San Jose. The drive through these neighborhoods is one of the city's most scenic, with large mature trees and some of Jacksonville's most notable landmarks along the way. Beauclerc Road is a desirable location, extending out to the St. Johns River and lined with stately trees, as is most of Beauclerc. A mix of housing styles are available in this neighborhood, from brick ramblers to two story contemporaries. Most of the homes in Beauclerc were built in the 1970s and 1980s. The area is also home to small office parks and condominium communities, as well as small retail centers. This area also affords riverfront views and access, with many impressive estate type homes lining the river. San Jose is just north of Beauclerc, extending toward downtown along San Jose Boulevard. San Jose is almost an exclusively residential community, with homes built in the 1950s and 1960s. In September of 2012, there were 22 residential homes sold at an average price of $101,000. The highest priced home selling for $1,250,000 and the lowest priced selling for $36,200. South of Beauclerc area is another desirable area, Mandarin. This area is marked with history, ancient oak trees, beautiful parks, marinas & runs from the river to the desirable Southside areas. It borders the county of Duval & St. Johns. Whether you want to commute to work downtown or Southside, all of these areas are convenient. They also are close to beaches, St. Augustine, Town Center shopping, restaurants, sport events & more. Come let us give you a tour of our areas.
